Real Estate is Susan Crawford’s passion! Having been a full time REALTOR® since June, 2000, she knows this is her life’s calling. Susan moved to the Triangle on her birthday in 1999 from a small town outside of Evansville in Southern Indiana and although she loves her midwestern roots, she can’t imagine calling anywhere else but North Carolina home! Susan brought those small town ethics and values to central North Carolina and loves building long lasting relationships with her clients, embodies the protector role and always strives to go above and beyond the “call of duty.” She is an active member of the Durham Regional Association of REALTORS® where she serves on the Professional Standards' Grievance Committee, the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. She also served as a Director for the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Foundation (NCREEF) for multiple years. Susan holds the designation of Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Short Sale & Foreclosure Specialist (SFR) and e-PRO. Susan has also been a national real estate coach to other agents for the past five years. Because of Susan's caring and compassionate personality, she has the innate ability to help her clients work through some of life's most difficult situations. Susan has one grown daughter, a quite handsome (*smile*) young grandson, and is “human mom” to shih tzu, Scooby and labradoodle, Peyton (yes, he's named after the greatest football player of all time!! *smile*). She currently resides in Hillsborough, is an active member of NewHope Church in Durham, is an avid football fan (Go BRONCOS! If the Broncos aren't your team, please don't hold that against her!) She loves to bake and is a custom cake decorator, loves both foreign and domestic travel, scuba diving, gardening and canning, country music and ballroom & country dancing…and she really wants to be YOUR REALTOR® for life!
